'As an audio engineer, I demand high calibre recordings and the right blend of musicians. Adestria has what it takes, and the album is worth each penny. There's not too many albums I can sit all the way through, but this is one of those albums that makes you want to listen to each song. Complex catchy choruses, edgy guitars, atmospheric keyboards, beat heavy drums, all blended to perfection: what more can you ask for?' ~Tyson McKenzie of CastleRock Radio.

Before being Chunk ! No, Captain Chunk, the band lived many adventures under a shitty name. After some shows and bottles of beer, the members of Firepants decided to live their own life and stop playing in the band. But being in demand of success and chicken wings, Paul and Jonathan find two dickheads to play with them : Vince and Tak! but because of some problems of availability, tak and vince have been forced to leave the band… that's why matt and eric took their place! The band is actually recording a lot of astonishing songs for fans of Death Metal and Harry Potter.

Meet Nick (vocals), Dan (bass), Josh (guitar/vocals), JJ (guitar/screams/BG vocals) and Travis (drums/tamborine), five guys from Cincinnati, Ohio, who were inspired by their hardships to write their first album telling the story which lead them to chase their dream and undying passion to make music. With heartfelt messages through their songs and exceptional live performance, they have managed to make instant fans all over the US and abroad without any backing from a adjudge or distribution company. CTH is the perfect example of the "DIY" band that will soar to great heights under any circumstance only to do what they love! During their first nation wide tour, their bassist Brad Andress had a cancer relapse. The rest of the guys pulled their money together and flew Brad back home, canceled the rest of the tour and returned home to be with Brad. Unfortunately, Brad lost his effort with cancer at the age of 20 on October 6, 2006. In December of that year the band released a tribute album, which consisted of song by other bands that were close friends of Brad. Line up changes through the years: 2003 – Self Titled Release Ben (vocals) Josh (guitar) JJ (guitar) Brad (bass) Justin (drums) 2006 – Photos Perfect Nick (vocals) Josh (guitar) JJ (guitar) Brad (bass) Justin (drums) 2008 – Standby Nick (vocals) Josh (guitar) JJ (guitar) Dan (bass) Traivs (drums)2009 – Let It Be Known Nick (vocals) Josh (guitar) JJ (guitar) Dan (bass) Traivs (drums)

A Loss for Words

.. In a world where some bands are handed everything on a silver platter, there's also a place where there's still some hardworking folks left. Boston's own pop-punk outfit, A Loss For Words are at the top of that list. Having released 3 EPs and their full length "The Children Can't Lose" since 2005, they are a group with unstoppable dedication, hard work, and creativity. A Loss For Words have been regarded by members of Bayside, Four Year Strong and Bane as the hardest working band out there right now. Some people are going to ask what being a hardworking band even means anymore, and those questions are warranted. In a world where Myspace plays have somehow become more important than heart, the line that separates the real from the manufactured has become more than a tiny blurry. A Loss For Words know where they stand in this sea of blurred lines. A Loss For Words are out there on the road touring ten months out of each year. Not only are they out there playing shows, but are watching younger bands, actuation CD's in the parking lot, shaking hands and putting on one of the most sweat-soaked and honest sets you can find. A Loss For Words sees the surround that stands between them and success and they're not stupid. They know that maybe with some cool haircuts and electric drums there might be an easier way around it, but they've picked the path they've always known, breaking away at the concrete with their bare hands and it shows. I challenge you to find another unsigned band with these achievements: toured with Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals and Polar Bear Club, sold 6000 duplicates of a record that no one helped them place out, and that went to Nihon on a 100% DIY agenda. With A Loss For Words, the guarantee is that no matter what town you live in, these guys will be there this year ready to shake your hand, hang out, rock out and have a good time

Vanna is a metalcore band from Boston, Massachusetts, United States. They formed in December 2004 with just Evan Pharmakis and Nick Lambert and recorded their first demo in a dorm room at MassArt using a drum Machine. Soon they recruited drummer Brandon Davis (who at the time was playing guitar for the band Therefore I Am), bassist Shawn Marquis, and vocalist Joe Bragel. They then recorded and self released their first E.P. "This Will Be Our Tiny Secret". The Six song E.P. swiftly helped the band acquire a strong local fan base. It was this E.P. that helped them get noticed and on November 15, 2005, the band was signed to Epitaph Records. In March 2006 they released a split Vinyl E.P. with Therefore I Am, only 500 duplicates were pressed. Then they began recording their Epitaph debut but due to individualized reasons Vanna and vocalist Joe Bragel Decided to part ways. After the departure of Joe they recruited Chris Preece to fill in the vocal spot. For various legal reasons Chris could not do the vocal parts so Nick and Evan did the vocals on the record. The E.P. "The Search Celebration Never Came" was released June 6, 2006. After its release the band toured for the whole summer and into the start and on October 25 they traveled to Seattle, Washington to record their first full length album with Producer Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Norma Jean, The Fall of Troy, Pearl Jam). They recorded through November and up until December 19. After coming home they took the month of Jan off and in February began touring again with The Esoteric and playing a few Dates on the 2007 Epitaph Tour. On Jan 23rd, 2007 the song "The Things He Carried" was released on purevolume and features vocals from Brendan Brown of The Receiving End of Sirens. Their debut full length "Curses" was released on April 24, 2007 under Epitaph. The band will continue touring in support of the album and is sure to make their impact on the post-hardcore scene. Drummer Brandon Davis suddenly departed the band mid tour. And was eventually replased by Christopher Campbell (The Jonah Veil,Evertone) After Much touring the band went into the studio to record "A New Hope" After this release the band hit the road, building a loyal fan base. In July 2009, vocalist Chris Preece decided to part ways with the band. Preece, who had contributed his vocals to Curses and A New Hope, left the band citing "personal reasons" and left on good terms with the band. Following the band's 2009 Warped Tour Dates.Preece will be replaced by Davey Muise of Seeker Destroyer. Preece recently played his last show with Vanna at the Mansfield, MA stop of the 2009 Warped Tour where Muise was brought to the stage and introduced. Muise played his first official show with Vanna on Saturday July 25, 2009 at the Palladium in Worcester, MA. Vanna has been busy in 2010. going on countless tours like The Atticus Tour, Warped Tour, and The Ghost Bust Tour. Vanna have also left Epitaph Records and have signed to Artery Records, with distribution by Razor And Tie. VANNA recorded a 5 song E.P. "The Honest Hearts Ep" with 3 new songs and 2 old songs re recorded with Muise. Vanna has dates set to head into the studio in january 2011 to record a full length in Georgia.

GreenEarth® Makes Each Day Earth Day with New Online Tools to Live a Greener Life

Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) April 14, 2010 –-

The world’s largest brand of environmentally friendly dry cleaning, GreenEarth Cleaning, LLC announced this day the launch of a new feature on its website to help make each day Earth Day. Each day, the GreenEarth website, greenearthcleaning.com, will highlight a new “tip of the day” with relevant information and recommendations on living a greener life. The tips are also acquirable in a supporting online brochure, GreenEarth’s Guide to Living Green that features a year’s worth of easy steps people can take to make a green difference. The company also plans to make versions of its website widget acquirable free, through downloadable code, for websites and bloggers wishing to advance the cause of taking individual positive actions to reduce our collective environmental impact.

“Our study means a lot,” says Tim Maxwell, GreenEarth Cleaning President. “GreenEarth has always stood for green cleaning. Customers seek out dry cleaners using our process because environmental impact matters to them. But dry cleaning is just a small part of that equation, there is so much more we can all do to make a greener earth.” The regular green living tips at greenearthcleaning.com cover a broad range of topics—from painless ways to reduce energy and water usage, to specific steps to eliminate junk mail, to creative ways to be greener in the kitchen, the laundry room or in the car. Most of them save money while helping the planet, and include online links to resources and references for people wanting to learn more. “Living a greener life doesn’t have to be hard, take a lot of time or cost a lot of money,” stated Mr. Maxwell. “That’s why we did this, to spread the word about the really huge impact that small changes can have.”

GreenEarth is the brand study for a patented dry cleaning process that replaces petrochemical solvents with pure liquid silicone, eliminating the decades-old problem of environmental contamination. Silicone is essentially liquified sand; when released to the environment it breaks down in to three elements it is prefabricated from: sand (SiO2) and trace amounts of water and CO2. The GreenEarth process utilizes a shut loop system that grants the silicone to be continuously recycled within the machine, where its one-of-a-kind properties also wage excellent artifact care benefits. Approximately eighty percent of dry cleaners this day use perchloroethylene, or perc, a 1940’s era cleaning solvent considered by the EPA to be an air and water contaminant. According to the EPA, exposure to perc can also lead to increased risk of cancer, eye, nose, throat and skin irritation and reduced fertility. Contamination from spills and leaks can mean millions in clean up costs. California has recently illegal perc and many other says are considering similar legislation.

GreenEarth, which licenses its patented silicone-based dry cleaning technology around the world, represents the industry’s most promising substitute to perc because it solves the problem of environmental country without burdening the dry cleaning operator with significantly increased capital equipment and/or fag costs. Less than one-third of one percent of dry cleaners utilize either of the other two substitute green cleaning methods, CO2 dry cleaning or professional wetcleaning, because their higher operating and capital costs make it difficult to acquire a living.

Q&A: How do you make those live person video clips with the transparent backgrounds and add them to a website?

Question by dxnativebeauty: How do you make those live mortal video clips with the transparent backgrounds and add them to a website?
They are the same as the InPerson ads Rovion has, Amy Taylor has one and VirtuaGirl and I believe they are swflash files.

Best answer:

Answer by Chris S
You’re right, the final product is a swf file.
First, the video has to be shot against a single-color background (bright blue or green generally). Then, you’ll need to edit everything together using flash and after effects. Here’s a great video on how to do it:

Finally, the swf file will need to be in an totally positioned div in order to appear as if it’s “over” any other part of the website.

If you don’t have After Effects and need a lower-cost solution try http://hughestech.com/transparent_video/
