You do not need any fancy application to create great websites. You could just use Notepad. All you need is to know the programming languages used to make web sites and how to use them correctly, HTML CSS JavaScript, PHP, etc…

you could use Adobe Dreamweaver, it helps with basic repetitive stuff and can speed up some tasks, but it is not needed.

Q&A: Can i use my ranked 1 in search engine website, to promote or create an irrelevant post with it?

Question by Jay: Can i use my ranked 1 in search engine website, to promote or create an irrelevant post with it?
I have a website and it tops in google and i want to make another post with it. Is it helpful if I will use one of my website in blogger to create a completely irrelevant subject post. My website is in the top of the search engines and I want to use it to bring or make another post with it.
Does this brings an irrelevant post in the top of search engines?

if you have a #1 ranking in a google search, it must be a really specific kind of search that very few people actually search for – as a blog,- the number of subscribers you have is the important thing

not sure what you are asking regarding irrelevant posts – irrelevant posts are irrelevant – no one pays any attention to them

Create Page UI in Drupal 6

A few nice css link styles images I found:

Create Page UI in Drupal 6

To take a full screenshot of a Drupal page:

* Expand as many fieldsets as you’d like and have it as you want it to appear.

* Firefox -> File -> Save Page As… -> Format: Web Page, complete — Save to the Desktop

* This will create a page.html (i.e. the last argument), and a folder page_folders

* Any images that are contained in the theme directory will need to be copied over into the page_files directory. So copy and paste the entire /themes/garland/images folder to page_files, and the theming images will correctly appear.

* Garland’s style.css should be in the page_files, and the import CSS HTML should look like:
< link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" media="all" href="page_files/style.css" >

* Paparazzi! -> Open File -> Select page.html from the desktop.

* Keep the default minimum size of 800×600 (the 800 width includes the scrollbar)

* Click the "Capture!" button

* Do a "Save Image As…" and save & upload the png

UPDATE: Or just use the Page Saver Basic Firefox extension as suggested by greggles

UPDATE: Use the Page Saver Basic Firefox extension as suggested by greggles — or Mac users can follow an substitute way as described below…

* Expand as many fieldsets as you’d like and have it as you want it to appear.

* Firefox -> File -> Save Page As… -> Format: Web Page, complete — Save to the Desktop

* This will create a add.html (i.e. the last argument from admin/build/views/add) — as well as a folder add_folders

* Garland’s style.css should be in the page_files, and the import CSS HTML should look like:
< link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" media="all" href="page_files/style.css" >

* Any images that are contained in the theme directory will need to be copied over into the add_files directory. So copy and paste the entire /themes/garland/images folder to the add_files folder, and the theming images will correctly appear.

* If the sidebar images don’t appear, then the CSS syntax might looks like this: < style type="text/css" media="all">@import "/themes/garland/style.css"> — if so, then it needs to be changed to < link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" media="all" href="add_files/style.css">
The CSS files of admin.css, defaults.css, system.css from /modules/system might need to be put in the add_files folder if this is the case — and the add.html might also need to be changed to this syntax.

* Mac users can download Paparazzi! screen shot taker from here.
Paparazzi! -> Open File -> Select page.html from the desktop.

* Keep the default minimum size of 800×600 (the 800 width includes the scrollbar)

* Click the "Capture!" button

* Do a "Save Image As…" and save & upload the png

Q&A: How do you create meta data for individual pages when you have a website that uses templates in Dreamweaver 8?

Question by elcriticofuerte: How do you create meta data for individual pages when you have a website that uses templates in Dreamweaver 8?
I have a website with several pages and a common template that runs crossways all the pages. Unfortunately when I try to add metadata it adds it to the template. I want apiece page to have its own meta data so when people search on my company’s intranet they pages come up with their own descriptions. Any thoughts on how you accomplish this task?

Answer by Pete
Create an editable region in the code of your template, wrapping around the head tags of the template. You will then be healthy to customize the data crossways the child pages.

You’re not looking for a facebook lookalike, but some online forum software.
You can get various pre-made forum packages like vbulletin, phpbb and others, Google for more.
These will usually be based on a SQL database and PHP code
Getting an existing package and tailoring it is usually preferable to cooking your own from scratch
