I am happy to notice that the store owner of a local specialty goods store actually used nearly all the shots I did for him as a bona fide service to introduce myself as a photographer. However, he apparently wanted to show his gratitude in that he gave me this model of a classic Mini Cooper as a gift to have.
Awww, there are many things superior than money, appreciation certainly being one of them!

P.S.: And while we’re at it: National Geographic Magazine have actually requested one of my images for potential publication in an article they plan on doing for their website and next issue. I had to crosscheck first, since there is just an insane amount of hoaxes and spamming, but the sender of the request evidenced to be trusty and – heck – yeah, if they want it, they shall have it!

WinDeveloper Bringing Connection Filtering Back to Exchange 2013

Valletta (PRWEB) November 26, 2013

Connection Filtering is returning to Exchange 2013 with the new IMF Tune release. Bringing back anti-spam features not included in Exchange 2013, WinDeveloper is set to encourage more Exchange 2013 on-premises deployments.

The loss of Connection Filtering in Exchange 2013 is of concern to many administrators planning to move to the latest Exchange release. In early versions, Exchange Connection Filtering granted for IP based email filtering. This included the use of DNS block lists (DNSBL) and whitelists (DNSWL).

Exchange administrators have been relying on this functionality since Exchange 2003, Alexander Zammit WinDeveloper Technical Director explained, and they wont think about moving to a new release unless all critical functionality is in place.

With nearly a decade of IMF Tune releases under his belt, Alexander describes how IMF Tune was born to address these concerns. Since the first release, we prefabricated it our mission to focus on supplementing the Exchange built-in anti-spam, this prefabricated IMF Tune the natural choice for anyone wanting more from the native Exchange filters.

The new IMF Tune is planned for final release in the first quarter of 2014. All versions from Exchange 2003 to 2013 will be supported. Administrators can plan their Exchange migrations relying on consistent email hygiene that moves crossways Exchange versions with minimal effort.

Pricing starts from as low as $ 150 for a 15 mailbox license. This one-time charge also includes all upgrades released within one year.

More information on IMF Tune is acquirable from the WinDeveloper website at http://www.windeveloper.com/imftune/. From here, a 30 day free evaluation version is acquirable for download.

Q&A: What are the best (non spamming) methods to market a new website?

Question by Marcello: What are the ideal (non spamming) methods to market a new website?
I have website (not yet up) that will come out where you can log on and play some games against other players on the web for free. I want to see if the games are good enough to maintain interest, and thus if enough people really are interested in signing up for free, see if there is a market for it for a small cost.

Anyhow, initially, all I want to do is get the word out to see if people want to try it out for free. I don’t want to do anything like spamming or things like that, and I do have money to spend on marketing ideas if that is the ideal way. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

“If you build it, they will come” is not necessarily true on the Web. Putting a website up is one thing, but getting visitors to come to your site is another. The process becomes even more difficult if you have limited resources to market your business.

Here are some shoestring marketing ideas that can help you get the visitors you need at the least cost possible:

1. Create the ideal content you can with the ideal products you can possibly offer. Your content is your ideal advertisement – if visitors love your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.

2. Make it simple for users to advocate your site. Viral marketing is very important — and simple to tap on the Web. But give your users the tools. Get a Advocate this Site script from websites such as cgiscripts.com and similar directories of scripts. Some even go as far as giving incentives to those who advocate the site to their friends. If only 10 people go to your site, but these 10 people invite 10 more – that’s additional traffic that you get for FREE!

3. Rank well in the search engines (organic search results, not the pay per click). SEs can be a huge source of traffic. The key is to create the ideal content in your niche. If you have good content, other websites will gladly link to you and offer your site as a resource to their audience. Check the on-page factors and be sure to get linked from dominance sites in your topic area.

If you are going to read only one piece on search engine optimization, I recommend you read Brett Tabke of WebmasterWorld.com’s “Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone: 26 steps to 15k a day.” http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/2010.htm

4. Send out press releases. While outfits charge as much as $ 650 per release, there are free press release submission places on the Web. Press releases grant you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending apiece website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.

5. Submit articles. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an dominance in your field, and grants you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

Who do I contact in regards to a website spamming?

Question by razsports: Who do I contact in regards to a website spamming?
There is a website that uses the word sports four times in their title tag(uses same title for apiece page on their site) and uses the word sports twice in their short description(which their description makes no sense) and uses the word sports 10 times for keyword phrases. I’ve had enough of this site imperfectness to obey by clean business practice laws.

I’d like to report them to search engines and their hosting company. I contated yahoo by filling out their form, but they have NOT taken action. I filed that complaint two weeks ago.

SpamButcher Releases “Anticipated Sender” Standard to Combat False Positives

SpamButcher Releases “Anticipated Sender” Standard to Combat False Positives

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) April 23, 2008

A problem plaguing all anti-spam solutions to some degree is the issue of incorrectly filtered messages known as “false positives.”

Wanted email messages such as newsletters and income receipts often contain many elements in common with spam messages. Embedded images, “unsubscribe” notices and multiple recipients can cause spam filters to inaccurately attach a message as being spam.

Anti-spam software provider, SpamButcher is offering a solution to the problem in the form of an open standard called “Anticipated Sender.”

When a website wants to offer a newsletter subscription or other automated email messages to a individual – they can also present them with a special link to an Anticipated Sender file containing the sender’s email address.

If the individual clicks the link, the file is downloaded and processed by their spam filter. The spam filtering application then presents the individual with the option of adding the sender’s address to the user’s list of known email addresses to be exempt from filtering.

SpamButcher 2.1 is the first spam filter to support the standard.

SpamButcher is publishing the details of this standard for use by webmasters, legitimate commercial email senders and spam filter developers without charge.

Other efforts to assure email delivery have depended on centralized databases of validated senders. This forces users to trust a third-party to accurately decide who’s a spammer and who’s not.

In contrast, Anticipated Sender has the advantage of letting the individual specifically decide which senders to allow.

About SpamButcher

SpamButcher offers a powerful client-side anti-spam solution for Windows users that can eliminate up to 98 percent of spam email messages.

In 2002 SpamButcher became the first commercially acquirable anti-spam product to utilize fuzzy logic technology.
