Sunrise at Juno Beach Pier Park, Florida

HDR from the third batch of exposures with the new Canon 5D MKII. This is another sunrise from the Juno Beach Pier. I missed the sunrise by a few minutes this time. I wanted to go shoot at the Jupiter Inlet but I stopped by the Juno Beach Pier first to scout out the sky. I ended staying at the pier cause there was zero cloud formation up north, where the inlet is. I could have gone south to Ocean Reef Park but I feared the clouds there might have block out the sun. I stayed at the Pier to play it innocuous and prefabricated out pretty well with this shot.

Went to the Juno Beach Pier primeval this morning… pitch black early, with a couple of shutterbug friends. I had this exact picture in my head when I went out to shoot. This nighttime HDR pic came out much superior than expected. The Canon 5D MK2 does an excellent job underneath low light conditions. This was the one reason I upgraded to this camera.

Angkor Wat Inside the Temple

HDR pic taken from inside the temple of the great Angkor Wat structure. The challenge with this shot, like any other favourite tourist attraction, is getting a clean photograph without anyone in it. Eventually if you move long enough you’ll get your moment, but with a place like Angkor Wat you’ll be inactivity a long time.

Photoshop Action Organizer – 1-click actions Announces ‘Action Station’

Photoshop Action Organizer – 1-click actions Announces ‘Action Station’

Wakefield, West Yorkshire (PRWEB) February 4, 2009

1click actions, the creators of the 1click range of Photoshop Actions, has announced the release of the 1clickactions Action Station. Designed to as a streamlined workflow substitute to the action palette the Action Station offers rapid browsing and powerful search functions to users of Photoshop actions. Details can be found on the Action Station site at http://www.1clickactions.com/actionstation.htm.

“The most favourite request from our customer feedback monitoring has been for some way to organize all the actions we provided”, states 1click’s David Gill. “Until now our customers have had to navigate the Photoshop action palette and as our range of actions increased so did the size of the action palette.”

“Our Action Station is designed to offer an substitute solution to managing not just our actions but those of other vendors as well. From a single dialog users will be healthy to browse and run their actions without having to locate them in the palette. The Action Station search function takes usability a step further by letting users type in an action name, or even a part name, and the software locates all matching actions irrespective of which set they are located in.”

The Action Station is compatible with Photoshop CS2, CS3 and CS4 on both Mac and Windows platforms and is acquirable immediately from the 1clickactions website priced at $ 47.95. A UserGuide can be downloaded from http://www.1clickactions.com/pdfs/ActionStationGuide.pdf

Since being launched 3 years ago the 1-click range of Photoshop actions has expanded to include over a dozen different action sets, borders and edges, page layouts and Lightroom presets. There is also an active individual group with regular competitions, tutorials and downloads.
