Top Toronto Internet Marketing Company Numero Uno Web Solutions Announces Its Top Tips for Avoiding Common Web Design Errors

Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) March 24, 2013

Numero Uno Web Solutions (, a fast-growing global World wide web marketing firm that caters to small- and mid-sized business-to-consumer companies, is pleased to announce its tips for helping small- and medium-sized businesses refrain the most common web design mistakes.

According to the experts at Numero Uno Web Solutions, the World wide web has created an equal playing field where small- and medium-sized businesses can compete with the worlds largest brands. While that opens up a companys potential target audience, it also highlights the need to design an effective web site that is engages potential clients, reflects the brands image, and is simple to navigate and interact with.

Web design is important on a number of levels, its the first impression a company makes and it is a reflection of the brand; it needs to connect with potential customers and help them make e-commerce decisions, states Marco Reuter, Business Development Manager at Numero Uno Web Solutions.

With that much at stake, its important that small- and medium-sized businesses refrain some of the most common web design mistakes, state the experts.

According to the Numero Uno Web Solutions top tips, many small- and medium-sized businesses change to think about how navigation impacts a visitors experience. In English, people read from left to right, top to bottom. When they click on a site, they will naturally look to the top left corner. A web site that is difficult to navigate could leave the impression that the business is disorganized. People visit a site and look for specific information; make sure its simple for visitors to find the business name, logo, and relevant information.

To engage customers, web sites need to include a clear call to action that leads users to do something. Are they there to purchase a product, contact you, register for a webinar, or download a free e-book? Call to action commands are a great way to connect with a user, address their needs, and promote the brands business goals, Reuter adds.

The World wide web marketing experts note that when thinking of ways to turn visitors into repeat customers, many small- and medium-sized businesses overlook how color can impact a visitors experience. Colour is important because it affects the way people feel and react to a web site and brand. Colour can also create visual interest, and it can help direct the flow of the page and the users attention.

To refrain some of the most common web design mistakes, small- and medium-sized businesses need to find an expert search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) company to help them create a site that combines form and function, increases brand awareness, and is search engine-friendly. The experts at Numero Uno Web Solutions can help businesses design their web sites with a clear plan in mind, to create a site that resonates with audiences and meets a brands conversion goal.

Numero Uno Web Solutions is one of the top World wide web marketing firms due to constant innovation and overall customer satisfaction.
